OPTIMAL is part of a mentoring program organized by Malaysia's Department of Occupational, Safety and Health (DOSH).

At the moment, OPTIMAL is the HSE mentor for a small and medium size company called Gim Zam Plywood Sdn Bhd (GZP).

The program, which commenced in early 2003, involves three to four trained personnel from OPTIMAL providing the necessary HSE training to GZP's employees.

Some of the HSE programs carried out includes understanding legal requirement, HSE management, workplace hazards, industrial hygiene, electrical and chemical safety, material handling and storage, personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as environmental awareness.
